If you booked your hotel through Stuttgart Tourist or the link provided on the conference website, you received a free public transport ticket that you can use on all subways, trams, and busses in Stuttgart.
If you do not already have a ticket, you can obtain a 3-day ticket for € 12 when staying at any hotel. A day-ticket for public transportation (city center to university) is € 6,60 and a single trip is € 2,80.

An easy way to reach the venue is to share a taxi with other attendees staying at your hotel. Staff at the reception will be happy to order a taxi for you for a predtermined time the next morning. If you wish to use public transportation, here is how:
How to reach the conference venue
Public transport from Stuttgart rail station:
Fastest route: Take the U7 underground/tram line (leaving from low level station) direction “Ostfildern”, exit at station "Ruhbank (Fernsehturm)", and change for bus number 70 to “Plieningen”. Exit at the stop “Universität Hohenheim”.
Somewhat slower route, but only one transfer: Take the U5 or U6 underground/tram line (leaving from low level station) direction “Leinfelden” respectively “Möhringen” and change at “Möhringen” station to U3 direction “Plieningen”. Exit the train at “Plieningen Garbe” (final stop), from where the University of Hohenheim is only 700 m and can be reached on foot (<10 min walk) or by bus no. 65 (direction Obertürkheim, exit at “Universität Hohenheim).

Public transport from Stuttgart airport:
Take bus no. 79, exit at "Plieningen Garbe", the final destination of the bus; duration ca. 12 minutes.
