Mission

The Society of Nutrition and Food Science e.V., short SNFS, is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to bringing together nutrition and food scientists. SNFS aims to advance scientific progress and education in the field of nutrition and food science in order to contribute to healthy and sustainable nutrition for the global population. 

SNFS publishes unbiased comments on current controversial findings in nutrition and food science, hosts international congresses, workshops, seminars and symposia (see Activities), publishes an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal, the NFS Journal, and provides an information platform with this website.

SNFS membership is open to all persons who share an interest in nutrition and food science, including academic and corporate scientists and leaders, politicians and authority employees, as well as interested laypersons (see Membership).
